The concept behind these Tire Pressure Valve Caps is pretty simple. Replace your tire’s standard valve caps with this set of color-coded valve caps, and you’ll always know when you need to add air to your tires.
Most of us know that under-inflated tires use more gas and pose a safety hazard, but that doesn’t mean we’re pulling out our pocket tire gauges to check on things every time we stop for gas. With these Tire Pressure Indicators, you don’t have to. The valve caps will figure it out for you.
When you order, you’re asked to select a set of valve caps that’s appropriate for your tires’ recommended psi. If your tires are properly inflated, all the caps will appear black when put in place. If a tire’s air pressure drops by more than 4 psi, the yellow indicator will appear and you’ll know you need to add air.
